The aqua blue colors of this natural stone is very popular right now. The stone is very difficult to mine, making it more pricey than a lot of crystals, but so worth it! The stone only comes from the Dominican Republic, and the area is subject to the hurricane season, causing the mine to close 5 months out of each year. It also must be mined by hand as dynamite and heavy machinery can destroy it. Workers spend long hours mining this rare stone in holes than run as deep as 150 feet!
