Dry Creek Turquoise is only found in Lander County, outside of Austin, Nevada. The mine is currently closed so we were happy to have found these hard-to-find beads! The coloring is a beautiful creamy light blue with a cocoa brown matrix, making them a perfect match for opalized petrified wood. This Dry Creek Turquoise is considered high grade, harder than the average turquoise, so no stabilization is needed. Since discovered in the 1990's, it's becoming more popular, but is hard to find.
These are perfect for women or men. 4-4.5mm cube shaped turquoise beads are surrounded by 4mm round opalized petrified wood beads and antiqued brass heishi and cube beads.
Due to sizing, the bracelets vary just slightly in design (more/less beads), but all equally lovely. You are purchasing one bracelet. Shown in sizes 6.5", 7” and 7.5", but other sizes are available.
Our turquoise is genuine, we never purchase fake or dyed stones. We also have other jewelry in this material.
