This gorgeous one-of-a-kind CARNELIAN AGATE & TURQUOISE is a stunning mix of genuine gemstones with a touch of antiqued brass. The blue/greens and red/oranges gems with the golden brass makes for a lovely fall necklace, but it could easily be worn year around!
The necklace was designed around a pretty 10x23mm Carnelian Agate rectangle bead surrounded by all faceted beads to add sparkle! The beads include 5.5mm cube turquoise, 6mm round carnelian agate, 7mm rondelle carnelian agate, 3 and 4mm cube brass. The majority of the piece is beaded (about 16"), and it's completed with sturdy antiqued brass chain and lobster clasp completing the necklace. It's adjustable from 20" to 22" in length.
Carnelian is a semiprecious stone that is a variety of the silica mineral chalcedony and is colored by impurities of iron oxide. The coloring on this necklace is mostly orange and red/orange. The turquoise is genuine and varies in blues and greens with some visible veining in many of the cubes.
