This stunning RED CREEK JASPER & CITRINE NECKLACE has an unique CARNELIAN AGATE PENDANT. It's a one-of-a-kind piece.
The pendant is called Warring States Agate, and comes from the mountains of northern China and has to be hand excavated from hard basalt rocks. The stone is a Carnelian Agate, drawing its color from iron oxides and is traditionally known by the ancients as a stone of balance and protection. Zhanguo Warring States Agate is a newer discovery from one of the many volcanic provinces in north eastern China. They are known or their dense feel and bright coloration. Agates with patterns and bands are found to be most desirable with the banded agate formation being a favorite.
The 1.7" long tear shaped jasper pendant is surrounded by 6-8mm rondelle, round and 6x8mm tube red creek jasper beads, 6-8mm rondelle citrine beads and nice high quality silver plated accents. The necklace is finished with silver plated rolo chain (around the neck area) and lobster clasp. It's 20" in length and can be shortened to 18" if noted with your order. The polished agate pendant has the coloring of red/gold/brown/white and makes a gorgeous center piece!
